How can we help the people of Mumbai in wake of the attacks?
I really want to help the people of Mumbai cope in the aftermath of the recent terrorist attack but I don't know how. What do they need and are their any legitimate organizations or ways to give to them?
Indians don't need any financial support. What you can do is cut off aid to Jihadists, don't give jobs to muslims.

Though this terrorist act was tragic, most of the victims were probably pretty well off since the hotels they were staying at were said to be in the ranges of $500 per night. Maybe the Red Cross or another large charitable organization may open something in the near future.

I too would like to do something to show my support.
This doesn't have to be money. I am a teacher in the NYC public schools. After 9/11 people sent stuffed animals to all the school children of NYC. I don't know if all schools got them but many did. This came from donors outside NYC and they did it to try to help the children of NYC cope with what had just happened.
I know it seems like a small gesture, but it was really appreciated at the time. The kids were all very upset and scared by 9/11 and this really showed that other Americans cared and were thinking about us.
I would love to do something along those lines. No, not exactly the same thing, but something to let the people of Mumbai know that those of us in the rest of the world care about what has just happened to them.
If anyone knows how to do this, and would like to share, I would be happy to hear it.
