Well the answer is simple.We can improve India only by improving ourself.India is a democratic country,we make India otherwise India is just a mass of land.We all are a part of the problem.If the Governments are corrupt it is because we are corrupt,because it is us who form the government,it is us who vote the Government into power so it will definately have to be us who will have to clean the corruption from our own veins first and then expect a change in India.Therefore if you want to improve India improve yourself and India will follow!God Bless India!

India at the moment is run by people who have never seen school and still are over educated but there are some people like Narain Murti, PM Manmohan Singh, (Almost PM) Sonia Gandhi , Almost PM Rahul Gandhi, and sorts who have shown intrest in speeding up the countrie's development and they should be given a chance..........but unfortunately they wont be

Improve India..........there can be an improvement in my country when the people will b educated ,more than half of the country's total population is illiterate and this is the main coz of the fact that India is backward!But still there can b a vast improvement if people and children of today's generation like us have a feeling of nationalism .
Even in my class my friends talk during the national anthem.........I hate that and ihave observed that indians do not hesitate at litering indian roads but they never even throw a wraper in a foriegn country so i just have 2 say that its not possible 2 improve india if the citizens would not support our government........though they are corrupted like alll politicians!

india is just the name of the land... we cant improve the land...
if u really do want to improve anything to do with india, look into urself... improve ur own self first then go ahead to preach to tothers n try to improve others.

the indiab society consists of us citizens, it is we who must improve.
our mentality, stupid superstitions, baseless beliefs and all such stupid practices must be put behind us...
only then there is hope for india and its future.

Yes please don't throw thrash on the road. Why people do that. If they go out of India they wouldn't, but in India they would. Why!! At least I am not in that catagory, i throw thrash on road in USA to! haha. And when I go in India I would throw it in a garbage can so... It is kinda reverse for me.

Birth control, equality for women, an end to infanticide caused by desire for male offspring, fighting corruption (some hope), the end of inflated admission prices for tourists, peace with pakistan over kashmir, return of land to tribal people, ease of business restrictions and bureaucracy to enable greater foreign investment whilst retaining the minimum 50% Indian ownership, more trains and fewer cars, greater environmental controls following the examples of sikkim........

but lots of the above could apply to many other countries than India and its partly our fault that it doesn't.

change the whole political scenario.... bring in a common civil code, which is equal for all the people of India. do not divide the nation on basis of caste, creed, religion, race etc., coupled with hard work n sincereity we sure can have a powerful india as visioned by our late LEADERS.... remember

( 1 ) Changes should be made restricting a minimum level of education and a maximum age to enter into elections.

If the new members who come in for the elections are based on this category, we can expect something better from the people who rule the country.

And in ceratin levels of the ruling party, only one repeat chance should be given. Meaning PM, CM, etc. can hold positions only for 10 years.
( 2 ) All over the country, life style is being adopted from the American living trend. The most important to be copied from the American country is the Equal opportunity employment. That means - no resrevations of any kind in any jobs. Peoply should all be equal. Cases should be dealth on merit basus only.

These are just a few suggestions. If you agre on this lines and these are acceptable examples, I can go ahead and think of a few more ideas.
