8 to 4 to see mumbai... my God u got a task at ur hands....
but any way...
first dump your luggage some where else u r sure to lose it...
next take an auto and find ur self some break fast... ur best bet is an udipi resto in andheri east... then take a train to churchgate...
the trains in bombay r crowded but a good number of trains for churchgate start from platform 6 & 7 in andheri....
once at churgate follow the croud to kalaghoda (ask people else u will get lost)
do some windo shopping there... but if u plan to buy things bargain like hell
then take a taxi n go to nariman point and walk (5 kms to marinlines station) along the marine drive... the walk is plesent but the time u will be ther it will be hot n humid...
from marin lines take a train back to bandra... have lunch in lucky at bandra
then ask for linking road....
nice place to shop for shoes for women...
after that take an auto to the airport.... |

Hire a taxi as auto rickshaws are not allowed on few roads of mumbai. Make sure you visit only important places and not all of them as you have 8 hrs. |

U can visit Gateway of India & the Elephanta Caves nearby, also the Jehangir Museum. So, come to the town side & hire a taxi or a private vehicle & try to cover all good places. The Nehru Planetarium (Worli) is good but see if its possible for u to make it. |

you can use the local trains system and travel to south mumbai. Ther are many places of interest around Kala Ghoda area which you can see in 5-6 hrs and travel back to Andheri by train and catch auto or taxi to airport; & catch your flight to Delhi. |
