When I was there on business, they were very friendly and outgoing. Of course, tourists and businesses bring lots of money to their country, so it is not a wonder... |

They are only interested in your MONEY or YOUR LIFE FORCE!
A country of beggers, vampires and scamers... from an American with 33 years experience here.
They are masters at playing the game. Do not believe anything they say and understand they will never do anything they say. |

Mostly people are hospitable but be cautious as in any large cities anywhere. Dress appropriately to avoid unwanted attention, dont flash money or jewellery, and you should be alright. |

You're seen as a walking dollar bill, but it's a fascinating place to travel in, and Indians are colourful, charming, and every hospitable. It's quite safe to travel there. |

It depends on how different the tourist looks than an average Indian. If the tourist looks totally from another planet the whole town will stare like an orang-utang in a Nairobi zoo. Same way Minnesotans will react to a Maori with bones pierced through the nose cavorting naked in a downtown Minneapolis mall. |

Indian gape at the white skinned and fearful of the black skinned. Other Asians hardly travel to India. |
