I use the primitive way.
Asking the neighborhood people, shopkeepers, passer by and friends. Sometime use Taxi. |

I really hate my job...

Find a general map, then GET LOST! That's always been the way I've found my way around new cities and towns. Getting 'lost' allows you to see roads and landmarks that you won't usually see on a normal trip. |

Use the cell phone. It has a GPS program that you have to call your provider to have it activated. Tells you step by step. |

Usually before I take my trip I do alot of research online. I read up on local attractions and landmarks, memorize short directions or print them out, ask locals for tips, and sometimes just wander about the area until I find something cool to do. Friends and relatives can be helpful if they know their area well but I have a few who couldnt really help at all. |

Hey you are using your computer and there are many mapping programs that address just this problem. It's easy, type in Maps in your search engine. Take your pick. |

The first choice will be to ask the local people or the traffic police, next to ring up any friend who knows the place ,third try to locate the tourist information centre.Lastly if nothing works out enter a cyber cafe and locate place on the map and proceed further. |

I usually try Mapquest first but then ask friends or relatives who may have better options for me. That way if I use the information I received from friends or relatives and then get lost, I have a backup plan with Mapquest. |

I ask people who are around me when I am out and about- at the mall, etc. I also look up places on line that I will need to have know how to get. ex. nearest grocery store. |

I use Taxi. They eat out your money, yeah, but it saves the burden of thinking (i'm bad at directions) |

I normally I would either use Sat Nav, www.multimap.com, or just go for a drive in the rough area. |

just go into any shop there and ask for directions, come out and ask another guy walking that way, and then ask another person there.. then u will get an idea combining their 3 answers. |

I kind of just depends on if I have an idea of the area that it may be in, then I might just wing it and try to find it my self. Other times I use my map, the Thomas brothers one as it seems pretty good. |
