Unfortunately, not too good.

Like most Airlines, Air India has more issues than many others. The problem with Air India is that they try to achieve too much without really trying hard. They will cater very
warmly and bend over backwards to kiss up to the Western people, while not giving much importance to native Indian people. This is done without any issue or discrimination.
You could be a millionaire in Indian terms but they don’t give a hoot to you if you are not of White race or of a Western country.

Please do understand that this is not being said with any hate or ill will towards Air India but from personal experience in recent times. It does not matter whether one is are traveling
from India or to India the behavior of the Cabin Crew and such people will always be biased.

Somehow it seems that Air India does not realize that a lot of money that comes into their coffer comes from the humongous number of native Indian travelers. The best understood case is that of the Indian workforce in Middle East. The travellers to the Gulf Region are really too many in numbers to simply be considered un-important and surely they attribute a very large amount of the financial gain that is being made by Air India. Even with this, such people
are still considered like those of second class people.

Trust Me I went on it and it waz the worst airplane i have ever gone on so dont go on it instead go on Continental or Lufthansa

No worse than the rest of the world, although since they are becoming an industrial super power I'd say its gets kinda cloudy there.

trust me i went on air india 2 yrs ago and the service stank....
there was a baby crying and the air hostess wanted money for milk to give to the baby.
i was like, we already paided alot of money for the seats and told em to go in and get it themselves

the food sucked...everything did.
and my cousins went on another plane type and their service rocked

Do you mean airlines or air (for us to breath)? I assume the latter.

Spending several months in Hyderabad for a project, I'd say the worst ever. Dusty, heavy polluted with vehicles, hot, dry. I went downtown (old town) at night by car with opened window, only 30 minutes, and got myself coughing at night. I consider in Dubai (where I live) is better.

I'll give 3 out of 10
