On a busy peak hour traffic it may take 1 hour and 30 minutes. During non peak hours it may take 50 minutes. There are plenty of ways to reach railway station. If u have too much luggage to carry then go either for pre-paid Taxi or pre-paid Autoricshaw.
Otherwise u could walk out of the airport to BMTC bus stop (for abt half a furlong). There are a number of buses
