I don't live in India, but I am indian.

Well, first, you need to find your outfit. As you may know, the style in India and in America/Canada are different. I think jeans are pretty good, because all of the bollywood actors wear jeans, like Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachan, etc. It depends on the girl. Some girls like boys in jeans, some like them in traditional indian clothes.

haha. Well, I don't think they'd like bald men. Try getting a hairstyle. If your bald, you'd seem old. Don't get a canadian/american haircut, like spikes, everyone would stare at you. Just, get a regular cut. Maybe like this:

No. Not ears pierced. If you looked like a thug, and got your ears pierced, then you'd look like a gangster. If they're already pierced, don't wear earrings. And no jewelery. Dress like an INDIAN.

Just get a good motorcycle. Or a scooter. Or a car. Doesn't matter, but motorcycle/scooter is best.

Dress like an indian. I mean not like indian clothes, but don't dress how you normally dress, people would stare.

i am from india and i landed in Canada in Nov 07-so here some advice for person like you when you are in India.

1)Get rid of your earrings if you have too many-BUT-a small one-only ONE-would be fashinable in cities like Mumbai-Delhi etc-its pretty much acceptable and stylish-so decide on it by yourself.
2)Clothes-its warm-humid and dusty in India in most cities-so for casual wear-use jeans and cotton t-shirt-use light colored ones-whites/cream etc.-that makes u look young and hip!
Dont wear long/robe like t-shirts.
try wearing jeans and kurta-u can buy some nice Kurta in india-and they go well with jeans.
For formal wear-just wear nice formal trousers(black/grey/khakis etc with matchig shirts-stripes/cheque shirts-dont wear Floral or big multi colored shirts-girsl dont take that.
The girls are very different than in Canada-a direct approach would in all likelihood kill any chance of u getting a girlfriend.
try to be very slow and approach girls carefully.
Dont show off your canadian connection-that would mean u get treated as a snob.
avoid reference to ur candian background-in ur conversations.
get the girls to know u as U-as a person-not U as a Canadian
remember-girls in India are nowadays well educated-mostly they have bachelors degree and have specializations in computers and stuff.-so get into conversations abt their careers,indias economical progress and soon u can make friends.
dont try to sink ur hooks fast-it may boomerang-if u r looking for long term relationship-u will need to nurture ur friendship and develop it.
In India-girls still beleive in the story of Knight in Shining Armor / Perfect prince to carry them away to eternal love-so take it easy with their heart!Dont break hearts anyway!

About your bald looks-I think its ok-U must keep it clean-and shiny-its pretty fashionable in Mumbai if it gives u a tough look!

Regarding bikes and cars-I dont think u can drive in Cities like Mumbai or delhi or even the smaller cities-there are simply no road rules-U may be taking a risk if you drive there and the laws are tough nowadays-if u get caught you will be made a media highlight soon-so try and avoid-else get a friend to teach you for 2 months before you drive on ur own.-i dont think u can get a licence-its not so easy i think.

One more thing-ur english-when u talk-speak slowly and clearly-else most people wont understand you-if u know hindi-keep going in hindi.

be careful who u make friends with in india-choose carefully-guys who will offer to take u to bars,discos,pubs are not the best of the lot normally.so choose ur friends after a good deal of thought!!

avoid eating and drinking on the road side-as much as possible eat home food and drink boiled water.or distilled water.

move around in group of 2-3 guys only-those whom you know-always carry telephone numbers of people whom u may need to contact in an emergency.

Dont wear fancy jewellery like thick chains or bracelets-its not cool!!

read up on indian culture

and have nice time in india!!

Different kinds of wearing Saree's are there different states in India wear different types. About car u have to choose after visiting India depending upon roads of India and the town u stay. OK

Check out what the hot Bollywood heroes are wearing, and use that as a general style guide - since your intention as you say, is to "look good and attract girls." Good luck.
As for wheels, it depends on how much you want to spend. There is certainly no dearth of choice, you can come here and test drive before you buy.
BTW, be careful of displaying lots of jewellery in crowded market areas, it can get snatched.

U R coming to a hot Country its not as cold as CANADA here after the temperature in INDIA will statarted to sore high that is upto 50degree celsius in North india and some parts of Andhra Pradesh in South India and around 45-48 in other plains and some parts of Interior Karnataka, Kerala and some parts of Karnataka and other places of some hills of Himalyas will be 21-35 degree celcius.

So to wear a pant and a shirt or A long shorts is good for U or
anyting if U wear a good or T shirt if it is good then it is good.

Decide based on the place where U are going to stay in INDIA.

Ask you relatives and mommy and daddy, they should be able to tell you. I am sure your family much have pictures to show you how people dress where you are going. In india males do not wear baggy clothing, and they do not wear tight clothing either. males wear jeans/pants that are like regular size jeans males wear in Canada. I think you should go there and do your shopping there, if you want you should go shopping with your parents in Canada to have clothing for a few weeks (so, you will have something to wear when you get there).

OKAY WHEN PEOPLE TELL YOU THAT DOGS WILL CHASE YOU THEY ARE MAKING FUN OF YOU!!! and dogs dont really chase people. they are so busy humping each other they dont even notice people passing by. hey, dont try to drive in india! you cant do it!...unless you have done it before. i tried when i first got my licence and i nearly got killed! i went like last summer (from the us) and yeah dont dress like a thug, indian girls like the whole suave look. u know what im talking about right. bald wont do it for you. and its gonna be kinda hot there so dont wear layers of clothes. what i do everytime is disguise myself as one of them but with better clothes. well dont think of india as really primitve and not like the us... or canada for that matter.. they have really progressed! if your gonna get a motorcycle look around like you would here...and you know that streets are not like here. they drive on the opposite side. oh yeah if you tell people like vendors that you are foreign they will jack up the price by 400% and ..girls that know your from canada will start showing thier golddigging side. trust me most indian girls (in india) are gold diggers! actually so are guys. so be careful. other factors depend on what part or where in india your going. like culture in the south is sooo different than it is in the north
