Paharganj area, Ajmeri Gate, Fatehpuri, Kashmere Gate, Hamilton Road, Jama Masjid Area....there are plenty of places around New Delhi and Delhi Main Railway Stations, and Kashmere Gate ISBT where you can find economic or very low priced hotels / lodges / places of stay. Almost all porters, rickshaw puller or autorickshaw driver know these places and can take you through the narrow streets of these localities. |

Ask any rickshaw wala, cycle rickshaw puller. He will always take you to cheap hotel.
Cheap hotel are in plenty near railway station, near ISBT, in Pahar Ganj, Karol Bagh etc. |

There are good affordable hotels in Delhi. I hope the "Ashok Yatri Nivas" one of the best place for cheep and comfort stay: but you have to book in advance and your maximum number of stay is limited |

u look at ur pocket and look at the condition of the hotel if it is too yanky panky then don't even think bout it. If u want a cheap one then u can opt for a dhaba too but if you want a GOOD + CHEAP HOTEL then first get in if anybody calls the waiter by Chi Chi then don't even think about that hotel. If you don't want to waste ur money by doing that then go to a neighbour's house who is very greedy just ask him where he goes you get the answer.

You have to decide the budget first. Then you may tell the auto walla/taxi walla/cycle-riksha walla to take you to a hotel within that budget. Generally there are some clean and economy class hotels near the Paharganj railway station and Daryaganj area.There are some in Karolbagh area also. |
