Head towards school, college or market place very rare is hospital & never parks but if you have more money you can plan to meet somewhere in fun parks/malls

Try to spend yourself evening time between 4:30 p.m. & 6:30 p.m. if you notice someone interesting who are in smiles & have some time to spare, smile yourself & introduce yourself, they are happy to exchange talk - go ahead tell how you like the Bangalore city & what you will be doing in next 2 weeks concerning your work, if they listen to you earnestly, then pop the question that How they find the Bangalore city, their opinions about Bangalore, while the talk goes along show delight & happiness in how or what they say, show that you accept them & appreciate their words it will work then you can tell what you will be doing next day in your liesure and ask them How they usually like to spend their time off work, it will work. If you can access, help yourself to cool water (bottled water is recommended) & offer them if they like some, you can really have this talk going for 30 minutes to 45 minutes then ask if you can leave your mobile number with them incase they wish to tell you about your interests: entertainment, latest trends in fashions, cool offers in Bangalore city

Like at any other place in India.
U have to mingle with colleagues . I too passed through such a stage initially on my posting there, but now, even long after I left that city, I'm having lifelong bonafide friends there, .
Kannadigas R a little reserved at first, but open up if / when they find that U R genuine, warm & clean person.
