How to go to Shirdi from Chandigarh by train or flight?

Chandigargh to Delhi, Delhi to Bombay and Bombay to shirdi. It depends on u how u want to travel. If u can afford it easily go by air upto mumbai and then by a private taxi to shirdi. Otherwise take a train.it is as simple as that I fail to understand why do u need someone elses permission as to how u shoud travel You already know the route and u should know ur purse.
dont feel annoyed, and enjoy your trip ti shirdi, whether by air or by train.

Best for train:
It have a large time to travel so u take train from ambala canteen to manmad from the manmad u take auto to reach temple.
or
from chandigarh go to delhi to mumbai express go to manmad we reach easily totally it take large time spending the amount it is best for that one.

if you want to take flight take any domestic flight from your town to mumbai or pune and then from there you can go to shirdi by travel buses.

By train-
Possibly the nearest station you may catch train (Jhelum Exp.- between Jammu Tawi & Pune) is Ambala. You may get down at Kopergaon from there Shirdi is about one hour's journey by bus/taxi.
Same train if you catch while returning from Kopergaon & get down at Khandwa, Indore will be 3 & 1/2 hours' drive by bus/taxi. From Indore to Chandigarh- there are many trains that may take you to Delhi. Best will be Intercity leaving Indore at 4 PM, reaching Delhi early morning next day. Otherwise Malwa Exp (indore- Jammu Tawi) starts at 1 PM and you are back in Ambala 11 AM next day.

If you want to travel by train then you will have to board a train at Ambala Cant. station for Manmad or Nasik by -
1. 2716 Sachkhand Express (24 hrs.)
2. 1058 Amritsar Dadar Express (31 hrs.)
3. 1076 Jhelum Express (26 hrs.)

From Manmad or Nasik you can reach Shirdi by bus or Taxi (which are easily available). Stay at Shirdi for the day.

You can reach Indore by luxury bus from Shirdi or next day come back to Manmad or Nasik and go up to Khandwa by train and to Indore by train or from Nasik to Indore by luxury bus (which I feel is the best option) ( 7-8hrs).

From Indore you can board 9367 Malwa Express (23 hrs.) for Ambala Cant.

you just book an airticket from cHd to pune.From pune to shiridi u have cab facility.so u may reach shiridi with in 4-5hrs.becoz it's a matter of 100-130kms.Happy journey.may the blessing's of baba will shower on u.bye.

if you want to go by air then take chandigarh-mumbai flight of indian airlines and then take taxi or bus from mumbai.if you want to go by train then take shatabadi express from chandigarh-delhi and rajdhani express from del-mum and then take bus or taxi
