SECOND THING, TRY TO FORCE MORE SMALL BUT STRICT RULES WHICH WILL REALLY HELP THE COUNTRY IN THE NEAR FUTURE...
FOR EXAMPLE: LIKE IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES, PUT A RULE ON LITTERING AND THROWING GARBAGE IN THE STREETS.. PUT PUBLIC BINS. THIS WILL HELP TO REDUCE THE DISEASES AND HELP A QUICK ERADICATION.
AS FOR 100% EDUCATION, GOVT. MUST GIVE OPPORTUNITY FOR PEOPLE IN RURAL AREAS BY PROVIDING THEM WITH FREE EDUCATION.
SOCIAL STIGMAS LIKE PREFERRING A BOY CHILD MUST BE STOPPED.
MOST PARENTS IN RURAL AREAS DONT LET THEIR DAUGHTERS STUDY EVEN IF THEY REALLY WANT TO. INSTEAD, THEY PREFFER MARRYING THEM OFF.
THIS WRONG THOUGHT SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THEIR MINDS.
EVERY PERSON WITHOUT ANY DISTINCTION OF CASTE, COLOUR, RELIGION OR GENDER MUST BE ALLOWED TO STUDY.
WE MUST GIVE MORE IMPORTANCE TO OUR COUNTRY THAN ALL OTHER FOREIGN COUNTRIES.
WHAT INDIA NEEDS IS A REVOLUTION NOT BY ANYONE BUT OF COURSE ITS OWN PEOPLE!!!!

With a population of over 1 billion, India has the potential to have masive economic power, and create lasting prosperity. To improve the country, it would be a good idea to invest this money properly, at 'grass roots level' first.

Invest into agriculture first of all, and give the economy a solid and prosperous foundation, then as that gets stronger, work up to manufacturing, service and dotcom industries over the course of time. Doing it this way, and following the Rostow Model of development, would see India's economic position strengthen very quickly.

The planners could look at the recent economic history of Nigeria (which had money frm oil revenues, but misinvested it all) as a role model of how NOT to go about developing a country. There is massive potential in India, in a whole number of different areas.

End dirty politics and corruption. I think corruption in this country is the biggest snag to the development of this country. I do not think that it can be totally elliminated but it can be reduced by giving proper wages and salaries to common man for a decent living. Root cause of corruption is poverty and the govt. and society both should work hand in hand to elliminate it.

India has entered into the global market and is having / will have tremendous economic growth. This will help the middle and upper class strata of society but unless life improves for the people below the poverty line the govt. cannot succeed in developing this country.

1.have all the corrupt politisions kept a million miles away from the 1000 caror rupees.
2.get all the power cables put under ground.
3.sort the road's out first.
4.is it true the rich get richer and the poor get pooer.
5.start with what ever little you can.
make sure women get the men's job's and have every house wife putting in 3 hour's work in a group.to clean and clear the street's and neighbouring areas.
6.have recycle bins every where.
7.avoide handing out plastic bag's,in the market.
8.tourism get's load's of tourist dollar but then the roads in south goa are so bad there are so many politisions who back stab each other in front of everyone but they do party together.
9.just tell kid's in high school about aid's and sexualy transmited diseas.
