The assumption in the question is that violence can never be eliminated whether by gandhi giri or other giri.
Experience has shown us that violence remains because we do not follow the path shown by great people whether Gandhi, Budh, Guru Nanak Dev, Kabir etc. If all of us follow the path shown by them viloence will disapper whether by Gandhi giri, budh giri, nanak giri or kabir giri. It is not the teachings that are to be questioned it is I who is to be questioned.
So the question is whether I will be able to shun violence?
