India is the largest democracy in the world with over a billion people. It is also a very stable democracy. We are a fast growing country. We have alliances with USA, Russia, Israel, France and such countries. India is surrounded by terrorist countries like Pakistan and untrustworthy countries like China.

Indian people are basically the north Indian Aryans and the south Indian Dravidians. We have many religions in India, the majority being Hindus.

India is a peninsula with the ocean on 3 sides. We are a favourite tourist destination. Indians play cricket, hockey, tennis and shuttle badminton. Recenty we won a few olympic medals too.

India is the leading outsourcing hub for IT and ITES services. We have built the world's cheapest car, the Nano, thanks to the TATAs.

Indian economy is fast growing, thanks to former Indian PM, Mr. P.V. Narasimha Rao, Dr. Manmohan Singh (PM) and Mr. Chidambaram (former FM).

We are a member of the elite club of nuclear powers, thanks to the Indo-US nuclear deal.

We have different poilitical parties in India, the secular parties, the religious fundamental parties and the Communists, apart from regional parties.

Militarity, we are very powerful with defense partners like Israel, US, Russia and France.

What India needs at the moment is:

1. Urgent need to uplift the living standards of the poor, which includes food, shelter, education, healthcare, transport, electricity etc.

2. Complete elimination of religious fanatics, especially in politics, at any cost.

3. Build at least one world class city.

4. Proper traffic system.
