One of my favorite place is Kudremukh, Kalasa, Horanadu and Shrigeri in Karnataka state. The scenery is breath taking here. |

DWARIKA RESIDENCY SHELAPANI WELCOMES YOU !
Madam,
The place i'm talking about is not only breath taking, but heart throbing also! wondering ?
YES Wonderful place called shelapani
Rural Tourism - An Initiative to connect urban and rural economy.
Here is an attempt to take you away to a dream land full of peace, simplicity and innocence. Connect with nature, unlearn luxury, and spend time with people who support your life by providing the raw inputs for complex city life needs. From agriculture to sericulture, they do it all. What you explore during these tours is a unique experience and an eye opener to the basics of a developing economy. You not only get to see rural life closely, but also get a chance to connect and open avenues for rural India by interacting with people closely..
While for corporate people, this gives a day off to go back to roots, for school children it is an opportunity to get close to nature and learn about flora and fauna. This is a day off to old days for senior citizens and an opportunity to see the India described in novels for people across country.
To give you Peaceful environment and Healthy atmosphere is our motto
A beautiful bungalow in Shimla District.
It is a wooden bungalow set amidst an apple orchard. It has all modern amenities including attached bathrooms, cable tv in all rooms, modular kitchen and spacious lounge and lawns. It is located 85 kms from Shimla town in a serene apple belt with a splendid view of the Himalayas and a river valley. It adjoins a lush pine forest which is ideal for camping, trekking, and jungle walks. The place (shelapani) is a great getaway for nature lovers, adventure enthusiasts and those who wish to be far from the madding crowd in peaceful and healthy atmosphere. One can also savor the local pahari culture here with includes a mix of local dances, festivals, and ancient traditions.
The main attraction however is the apple season. One can witness the apple blossom, apple harvest, the autumn in all its idyllic glory. In the winters one can enjoy snowfall and participate in adventure related adventure activities. The house is 85 kms from Shimla town and for those who wish a small stopover at Shimla, accommodation can be provided. For more details and photographs please check http://dwarikaresidencyshelapani.in.

Visit Thanjavur (Tanjore) in Tamil Nadu and visit Big Temple. The marvel of this temple a) The main temple is constructed by stone coupling method, i.e., no mortars used. The vertical height is 216 ft. On top a single stone weighing approx. 16 MT is kept. That apart, you can see the stone but the horological beauty is that its shadow never falls on the ground. The big bull at the entrance is a beauty to behold. On the North West corner a temple of Lord Subramanya is constructed where there are lotus petals with very tiny holes. For your information, this temple is approximately 2000 years old. In side the sanctum sanctorium there is dance male postures., the only one of lits kind. It is historical mystery that though there is provision for 108 postures but it incomplete. |
