I recommend the Golden Triangle - Three beautiful cities called Delhi, Agra, Jaipur. You can also visit the tiger parks like Kanha and Bandhavgarh.. to see tigers in the wild before they go extinct! |

You can start from the Southern most tip of India i.e., Kanyakumari. Then you can travel to kerala. After that you can move northwards. For more information on this, please check http://www.holidayiq.com |

The first thing would be deciding whether you want to explore the northern part or the southerb part of india. If you have enough time, you could probably do both but if you have limited time, pick one.
If it's the north, I would say start from Delhi, where your flight would land. Delhi would be your base.Explore Delhi. Then go up north to Chandigarh, then to Shimla. On your way back, you can try the toy train ride from Shimla- it's wonderful!Once in Delhi, you can go towards Rajasthan, visiting cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur, etc. They are known for handicrafts.
Back to Delhi. A trip to Agra and back. And then fly home! |

go to lonelyplanet.com and check out the india forums there.
you probably want to start in the north, fly into delhi, see the taj in agra, then go into the desert in rajasthan.
don't miss the himalaya. towns like shimla, manali and daramsala.
and yes, if you can get down to kerala, it's beautiful. |

To start with, go to Pondicherry. From there on, cover all the places of importance in Tamilnadu, then to Kerala and karantiaka. Then go up to the west and north of India. Go Luck. |

I would suggest Travel in India with someone who knows about india very well. As it will give you real you experience of India. If you travel with some travel compnay they will not show the real india. And if you come without anybody here you will not be able to go to interiers in india as it will not be safe for you. So its better to visit with somebody who knows the places very well.
You can start your journey with Golden Traingle i.e. Delhi- Agra- Jaipur .
Delhi is capital and many places to see. Agra you will sea Taj Mahal. Than Jaipur is a historical city.
From Jaipur take a flight and come to Mumbai. Stay in Mumbai for few days and enjoy the night life there then fly to Goa and stay there for some days and enjoy the beaches. and than come back to mumbai and take your flight back to your country with happy memories.
If you need more help please do not hesitate to email me at vinay_srt@yahoo.com |

hello
please do start from delhi |

Start from Mumbai. The most happening place in India.
My personal choice of places would be the following :
Mumbai
Kerala
Chennai
Rajasthan
Bangalore
Mangalore
Hyderabad
Kolkata
Delhi
Assam and on
I would suggest go south first and then towards the north. As it is winter here, south India would be a fine choice as it is normally pretty hot there and this time of the year it would be pleasant.
By the time you go north you will find a pleasant climate there.
Places which i feel you must visit are Mumbai, Chennai, Jaipur, Kolkata.
There is no better place in India. All are at par in India.
Enjoy your stay here!
I LOVE WRITING ABOUT MY COUNTRY!!!!!
Cheers!!

listen im a girl from india and i know quite a lot about what the tourists especially the women face here..the locals here are absolutely dangerous...there are groups of gangsters antisocial elements that dont see girls as human beings the foreign ladies are literally a catch for them..you may get in with them for some fun but they would heartlessly rip u off your organs and i mean this literally...do not befriend the unauthorised locals..do not walk about in places like kerala after 7 in the night..i have first hand knowledge about the seriousness of this issue in places like cochin trivandrum(both r in kerala) |
