From where you whant to go? Suppose you r in any part of india...reach Ahmedabad by train . from Ahmedabaad you will get Somanath Express leaving Ahmedabad at 22.00hrs reaching veraval at 6.15 hrs.Somanath Temple is 8 kms from Veraval Railway station.So you will have Aarati drsan at 7 am you can stay there visit various places NEXT DAY MORNING..leave for Dwaraka you have to travel by road only it is costal highways..very good road.From you can get direct train for Mumbai via Ahmedabad . in both the train second A.C. class services available. No worry to travell in Gujarat at any age at any time.Please tell me from which city you want to travell.. so i can sujjest trains..from Tivendrum Poone and Jabalpur there is Direct train for Veraval .For local transport auto is available at veraval station. for Somanath s.t. bus is available for Dwaraka. .Maheshkant Vasavada

Go by package tour available plenty from Ahmedabad .go to Jodhpur char rasta ,paldi ,gita mandir .You will find lot of travel agents available .ask the proper agents for package tour .I advise you must visit on group in this age .

Sir, I am not sure from which location you are planning to start your journey. I am assuming it is AHMEDABAD.

1. DWARAKA is approx. 220km* from VERAVAL [SOMNATH]. The travel time should be not more than 6-7hrs by bus.
2. Not sure about the darshan time, but I think in 10hrs you should be able to cover important places at leisure.
3. At SOMNATH too spending 10-12hrs would be apt, including time post-darshan.
4. It is possible to cover the two places ex. AHMEDABAD in 2 days. You could like to follow the itenary mentioned below:

Day 0:
AHMEDABAD- VERAVAL

Dwaraka is approx. 220km* from Veraval. There should be good number of buses. I suggest you check at the local bus station as soon as you reach Veraval.

Although there is a direct train from DWARAKA to AHMEDABAD [Saurashtra Mail] its timing from Dwaraka is at 13:03 which means you would not be able to spend good time at DWARAKA. Instead, I suggest you spend about 10hrs at DWARAKA and then take a bus to JAMNAGAR to board the Saurashtra Exp. from JAMNAGAR for AHMEDABAD. It reaches AHMEDABAD at 06:00 which is very convenient. JAMNAGAR is 145km* from DWARAKA, and you should have good number of buses/taxis.
