I can not understand why you want to leave US and want to live in India.If our spiritualism attract you then i advise you not to give any
money to any organization.Deposit your money in any government undertaking bank and get 9-11 percent of interest.The monthly income you get from it is enough to live and travel in India.And Many religion places and religion fair may satisfied you.
after understand all things you can do your business.
Few safe place in India are Chennai,Kolkata and Himachal Pradesh.
Other asain country may be alternate of US but not for India.

hi welcome to our india. We are living very happy without no high tension. If you come to india your life will be so happy. But my humble request is don't give any money to others. Why means it may create a chance to cheat you. But our people are good to have relation.

but why man? i m an indian citizen but i m livin in usa... comparing the two countries, i think the quality here is much much better than india.... i have lived my entire life in india and moved here 4 yrs ago... and my life has become much better.... so good luck with watever decision u make ...

very easy. The people are generaly lovely but keep your mouth shut about your wealth. Hop on an aeroplane travel around and find your ideal location. Rent a house or apartment. Open a bank account and earn (as of a few months ago) about 10% interest on your savings in a fixed deposit account.

You should have few issues and its an easy place to visit Thailand, China and various other asian countries.

I would be really nervous going to India with the current political situation and a potential war with Pakistan.

I have no idea how you would go about starting a new life there, but I don't think it's worth the risk right now.

Well you are lucky you have that much. You won't face much problem in settling in India if you know Hindi. I mean, most of the people you'll find here speak hindi. And if you want to communicate with the local people you ought to learn it.

i'm not really sure why you want to start a life in india with a wife....with the information you gave, you dont have to worry about a child's education, and if you do...going to india isn't a very good choice. i'm in 12 grade and i think the education is much better in usa than in india.

obviously if you want to go there because of parents and in-laws, yes you should....but moving permanently isn't a good choice. and if you are saying your wife isn't indian, then moving should definitly not be an option. i couldn't live there for more than a few months and i was there for a few years before coming here. if you have a Caucasian or any other race wife who was born and brought up here, she will have a very hard time adjusting.

My friend,I would advise you to start your new life from any other Asian country,such as Malaysia,Singapore or Dubai. Any one from U.S would have to face difficulties in day to day life in a country like India.
