I live in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A:

Positives:

Most people I have met from India have been wonderful people. I definately like the people.

Good food!

Nuetral:

Mostly desert. (I don't know this for a fact, it is just what I think of)

Lots and lots and lots of peole.

Negative:

All the American customer service call centers there. There is nothing more frustrating than having a complaint about some service you have and getting someone who barely speaks English, is hard to understand, and really can't help you, anyway. (This is a complaint about the American Companies, however, not the nation of India)

Hinduism. More specifically the fact that the teachings of Karma and the Chaste system leads to the rich treating the poor of your country badly. When you believe that someone is suffering in this life because of something they did in a past life, it doesn't lead to a lot of humanitarianism. India could be a much better country if the chaste system was abolished.

These are just my impressions of your country. I have never been to India, but I hope that I do have that opportunity some day.

Hi, i'm from Poland so pretty far, well, i haven't been to India but I wish to visit your country. This concerns a different culture so seems interesting. Also there are many good dancers, oriental moves and i guess, poverty. I'd like to know more about this place:))

I am from New Zealand, stayed in India for 6 months visiting mostly the northern states (Punjab, Delhi etc...) what do I think about India?....hmmm there where days I thought India such a beautiful place and times it seemed like such a hard reality. With so many propblems which could easily be solved, if systems werent so corrupted by the greedy.

I have never experienced such spiritualism and peace and calm in places such as 'The Golden temple' where thousands of birds sleep in one tree and fish that swim into your hands in the lake that surounds the temple. The feeling is indescribable and then to see such suffering and begging on the streets and train stations it is like going from one extreme to the next.

It is certainly no country for laziness where only the strong survive. But, have also huge divisions seen everywhere due to caste. I felt it was a very sheltered life for many, and in ways this is good, it has meant children have remained innocent (away from bad western inflluences) but it has also meant sons have remained too pampered and lacking in real life skills, depending on elderly grandparents and ageing parents for money.

I loved my experience in India and glad I could stay for as long as I did. I think India is a great country, patriotic and strict but also evolving daily. It would be good too see how much things have changed on my next visit.

And I would strongly reccomend anyone to stay for 6 months at least once in your lifetime!
the only worrying things are the castsystem,and of course the abortions of killings of females..
Do the indian people not realise that a country where soon there will be 70 percent males and 30 percent women.;is gonne go crazy?Already many indian men are very frustrated!And for a foreign women to be travelling alone..is sooo dangerous!!!
That it will be horrific..loads of rape ect...
Stop the dowry now!

Hello friend .India is good place for visit. there are lot of places where u can staty.
if u r interested to to stay is cool place then ucan chose hill area like as

1 Shimla
2 Masuri
3 Nainital etc.

if u r keen to stay in beach area then prefer Goa

I've been to an Indian restaurant and liked the food. I think it would be a nice country to visit. I'm from the USA.
