The monsoon season is not good for Mumbai in past few years. Road blcokage, traffic jams (air, rail and road). So plan Mumbai trip sometime after September. Nobody will give you guarantee about trip in July.

Try avoiding Mumbai during monsoon . I suggest , you keep out of Mumbai in July-Aug

Mumbai(Bombay), is the capital of the state of Maharashtra, the most
populous city of India. Mumbai is located on Salsette Island, off the
west coast of Maharashtra. Along with its neighbouring suburbs, it
forms the world's sixth most populous metropolitan area with a
population of about 25 million. The city has a deep natural harbour and
the port handles over half of India's passenger traffic and a
significant amount of cargo.

Yes, you can see the all destination as per your preference, but I would like suggest to you that you contact to an Indian travel agency for your travel arrangement including hotel accommodation and transportation.
I would recommend an Indian travel company they will assist and guide to you properly.
