Your ticket gets confirmed then and there when there are cancellations on booked tickets.It could happen anytime from today to date of boarding.Just log on to www.indianrail.gov.in and check the status of your ticket quoting your PNR No. on regular basis.

Only the chart is prepared few hrs prior to boarding of the Train.

my dear you have not mention which class . if sleeper class then there is 100% chance of confirmation . if it 3 a/c then also you have a 75% chance . as there is 1 month left you need not worry you will get confirmed. if you want to see your postion on daily basis then type your ticket pnr number in this link and get the latest postion of your ticket.

Surely it will be confirmed before your date of journey. You have 1 month time. Most tickets within waiting list 20 will get confirmed. Also check the status of your ticket through the website using your PNR number.

since there is one month left over, 100% chance is there for confirmation no matter which ever class you have booked.

Only Railway Authorities can confirm. If you are on waiting list you cannot enter the train. Better to follow it up.

The class of the ticket really matters. If it is sleeper class, the chances of your ticket getting confirmed is 100% taking the time into account. If it is II A/c or III A/c, the chances are slightly lesser than sleeper class, but still the chances would be 80 to 85%. If it is First class, then I would say the chances would be limited to only 50%. However, you may wish to visit the below mentioned site for obtaining a daily status of your ticket. Type in your PNR number and you will know the status as on that date. Do not worry, as there is plenty of time left out. Have a safe journey!
