You can't sell railway ticket by your own, both of you will be fined if caught. Traveling by others name is a crime in railway. Cancel your ticket by the method laid down by railway. You will be refunded as per time norms

the best thing would be to get the ticket cancelled
selling it will cause problems to the one buying it.

An e-ticket can be easily cancelled. I have done it several times. That is the best option

the best thing to do is ask the porters who hang around.....theyll know someone who can help you
