You need to ring up your Doctors and make an appointment at the travel clinic. They will tell you exactly what you need to know.
Do not take chances with your baby's health with a bunch of strangers on here, you need proper advice from paid professionals as some babies are deemed too young for vaccinations that would usually be given to adults travelling to India, so you may need other medical advice! |

No matter where you're going, she will no doubt need some vaccinations and possibly some malaria or other preventative medications--if the doctor even recommends such a young baby going at this time. Perhaps when she's older. Please see a doctor who practices travel medicine!! |

your doctors surgery practice nurse will have a comprehensive list. i am wondering how you will deal with malaria though?? - protection is in tablet form..and you have to take alot of them...i wonder how you will administer these to a baby...if at all possible? it is also very necessary to protect against malaria.
we go to India for hols..and we were injected for just about everything going. good luck - i would not take a small baby to India. |

definitely,, india unfortunately is a very unhygienic place.. you'll see cattles, animals on streets and they usually have bacteria which your baby might not be immune.. |

At that age, she's having her vaccinations just for merely living in the UK. i think it's a safe bet she'll need vaccinations for going to India even if it just finishing the vaccination course for living in this country. Speak to your GP. |

your baby has not even finished it's jabs yet. if your from Europe. then your baby is still having her/his build up jabs. do you want him/her to have more, cos h/s will need to. i would wait till the doc tells you it is OK.but if you go make sure you register with a doctor over there so you can carry on with h/s vaccination programme.and take h/s medical records with you. not being arrogant enough to say don't. your choice. with a billion population. i think your kids safe, just protect from the sun. and keep cool, |
