Srisailam - Temple of Lord Shiva - This temple is supported by Saraswati River as per Hindu Scriptures. Temple compound is around nineteen and half acres. If u dig six feet any where in the temple compoind u will find water, but outside temple compound u can't find water except from the river flowing down the valley. Have a visit to Mahanandi also, about 150 kms from Srisailam. U have a water pond there - where u can't find the source from where water is coming but it will be just flowing - any time of the year u find water coming out of the pond at the same rate. Apart from the above visit Tripurantakam, Alampuram, Uma Maheswaram and Siddhavatam - near srisailam |
