When you are goin to be in India, you will not find the side walks for pedestrians stroller friendly...i.e. they dont have ramps. You would be better off the baby bjorn. |

In India nothing is compulsary, bring the one which suits you most and is comfortable for the baby. |

I am not a parent, but I have been traveling alot before and I would say that you want to a baby backpack thingy. That is because there are a ---- load of people in India. They are going to be bumping into the stroller and it is very hard to travel with a stroller anyway. I have seen alot of people traveling with strollers and it looks troublesome and painful. As long as you don't have to carry too much physically on you, then i would say loose the stroller and carry the baby on you. I think it will be safer too because it will always be on you and with you whereas you might leave a stroller somewhere out of sight, even if for just a second. |

A stroller is certainly not compulsory at airports or anywhere in India, in fact it is an impediment, given the uneven roads and pavements (if any!). Assuming a bjorn to be a fabric strap on baby carrier, you are better off with this. At this time of the year when it is summer or approaching summer in most of India, a cotton carrier and loose cotton baby clothing is advisable. Happy journey. |
