Parvati means "daughter of the mountains" and of course is Shiva's wife and the two live in the Himalayas.

This website has a great list of Indian names (not just Hindu specific names, but also Indian names from other religions, too). I have found some great names there when naming the kittens my cat had (we needed something to call them until we find them new homes). I found really great names that worked well for many of the kittens personalities or appearance.

But off the top of my head the name that comes to mind is Parvati. Mainly because I have a Hindu friend named Parvatasundari which means "beautiful daughter of the mountains" and is derived from Parvati which I was told by the priest at the temple means "daughter of the mountains". Parvatasundari is not a native Hindu, but she got her Hindu name when she adopted Hinduism and went through the naming ceremony at the temple because she lived in Bolivia for many years in the Andes mountains and the priest said it seemed like a good name for her because if she was in India she'd probably live in the mountains, too. :)

The only reason i am answering this question is to ask you when you are going to update your webkinz website! I really enjoy it and i noticed you haven't updated it in a while. Are you still sick?

Thanks and sorry for no help...if you can then please email through my yahoo answers profile with an answer=]
