all the bus goes towards tindivanam and beyond go via maduranthagam which is in the national highway . mostly all bus which are express skip madurantham and go via bye pass road . you can get down at bye pass road . it is 81 k.m from chennai . from adyar you can come to katipara junction in guindy and get the bus from there . here are some routes numbers 121 (tiruvanmallai) 208 (tiruvanmallai) 139 (tindivanam) 104a (wandwashi) and there are lot of every 5 minute you have a bus .
