There are good family holiday places in Alibaug and Kashid-Murud, which are around 3-4 hrs by car from Pune. The Beach is very clean and the view is very scenic. You can try homestays which give a personalized service, hygienic and tasty food... that too at very reasonable rates. You can get the information of homestays from the website www.mygreatstay.com and you can book the rooms online. |

You may try Mulashi. There are a number of farm houses newly developed and they are not crowded also as compared to Lonavala, Khandala etc. |
