I want to go to simla with 12 family members in 2nd week of April.
Can anybody suggest me a safe decent hotel,
places to visit and

Hi Padmam,
well shimla is a good place to visit, u could reach by train or road to kalka station, from there u could go by mini train to shimla, u could take the sivalik express or shivalik mail which starts from kalka around 6.15 in the morning and costs around Rs.250 to Rs.380 per person, make sure u take the tickets of the train providing breakfast. it takes around 5 hours to reach shimla.
In shimla you have many budget hotels like The Victory, Dreamland and many near the station.
places to visit in shimla are The Mall, Kufri, The Golf area Chail, The jakoo Devi temple etc.
In the mall area u get good food, if u don't want to go to the mall by walk, better take an taxi up to the lift and then go by lift to the mall, u have to change two lifts to reach the mall |
