at this rate you can get any where the room in chennai . if you go for shopping area then t.nagar is the best area to choose. the biggest shopping area of chennai and also near to railway station. but the traffic is heavy in this area as lot of no entry and entry for all roads except this one thing all others things are the best. you have hundereds of hotel in north usman road, pangal park , pondy bazzar, and also near t.nagar bus stand. |

you can stay in new woodlands hotel where the rent varies from 700 - 2000 per day. As there is music season during december january of each year there will be lot of rush. it is better you book them early in advance. further this place is very near to marina beach, shopping centres, music halls, cinema halls and a pure vegetarian hotel.
this will be good for middle class family of two |

P.N: Several 5 star hotels situated near the Airport or Guindy is far away from the city and not practical for your purpose of visit. |
