There are several beach-shacks along many of the beaches in Goa that you would be able to find a room for that little money, however, because it is the monsoon, most of these are closed for the season due to the high wind gusts and torrential rains that comes inland from the sea. Generally these shacks are very basic in terms of amenities and most do not have any way to contact them unless you are actually in Goa. I think your best option would be to increase your budget and look for alternative accomodation. Hope this helps!

If you want a small accomodation, you will not have any amenities unless you want to cook your own food etc. Instead I suggest trying - Calangute - Residency Annex. However, you may have to dish out a little more than Rs.500/- for a double bed, but you will all services of a hotel. Beach view is not in the budget will cost atleast 700/- Otherwise you can try other places like Anjuna or Vagator. However please remember staying at beaches like Anjuna and Vagator means staying away from the main city. Calangute on the other hand has everything within arms length. You can also try the Miramar / Panaji - GTDC resorts which are located on the beach. For a lake view you can stay at Mayem lake resort.

500 bucks! No chance! If you want even a decent room, you have to bucker up more. You won't even get a sea-view toilet for that much money.
