At the moment Kashmir is unstable but it might be advisable to contact the Embassy for an update.
If you are travelling alone then please ensure someone knows you itinerary and if you are able check in with them do so.
Use common sense and if there are places that say no entry stay away.
Otherwise have a great time |

It depends on the Pakistan side, it is safe but there is nothing much left after the earthquake - the indian side is ok depends on what you mean by safe, there is always fighting happening on the indian side, but I believe there is less now than normal |

I dont recommend you, especially the Indian Border of Kashmir. But I suppose you can travel to Kashmir. I think travelling in Kashmir is safe with the exception that you won't go near the border. There are a lot of soldiers there and is a most common place for terrorists to attack. |

its depends upon how is the situation deterioted there.if it is everything well and under control so i don't think that any problem u could have in kashmir.go there and have a great stay.its a pleasure to been there.coz haven falls there. |
