i don't know when u went to India and people felt u r a movie star. but Indians now no more pay a tuppence to Americans. Indians are earning much better and having much better luxuries than Americans.
pls don't worry and move to India. believe me it will do good for u. the night life is much better there, unless ur father moves to very remote area which is not in the map

Give it a chance...''new'' doesn't mean bad , and I myself forget how developed India is now...is it a remote village you will be in? If not you will adapt very well.....you have your whole life ahead of you...if you still hate it after 3 or 4 years then you could always go back to New York...it won't ruin your life...just change it
Make the most of it...it seems unfair but you could make yourself even more miserable than neccesary if you don't find a way to adapt

I was born in India though I now live in America. Most people are poor.Let me tell you some things: Always Carry a knife with you just incase, Neva get into a fight, Neva carry American money cause people always steel,Every year when you go up a grade you will have to go to school in different part of India,I went to a boarding school so you might to. Always buy water neva drink tap water it's dirty,have bug spray,eat with your right hand not left. I think that New Delhi is the safest part,you have to bargin when buying stuff and going places. I know it's allot,but it will help you.
