chennai is a good city compared to any of the cities of my place(kerala).but during summer it is very difficult to live in chennai.

Chennai is a gr8 city, the people are very friendly and peaceful than any other north indian cities, most of the people can speak tamil and understand and will also reply in english, but in hindi speaking northies wont understand or reply in english

i live in chennai,am 22. and i absolutely love the city. y? i agree its really hot most of the year. but u ll find the most friendly ppl on earth in this city. for eg,u may be stuck in some place without knowing how to proceed to ur destination. ppl will help u,some even waiting for ur bus and telling u the route from there(this happened to me last week).

Ganesh, Chennai is a Metropolitan city like Bombay and Calcutta.
You can meet people speaking almost all Indian languages
Common language is Tamil and English
You get GOOD friends speaking Tamil in your scoolor public gatherings

I am afriad , due to the heavy humidity and Hot climate , i din't like chennai that much, but i appreciate your thought and i wish you gud luck , may you get good number of tamil friends on internet. All the best
