Bollywood is just skin show. What better way than to wear skimpy clothes. Sarees are there to stay. A saree is the most elegant attire.

Not at all.Saree is one of the coolest outfits.Bollywood depicts latest fashions and trends but in real life the actors are all together different.

u are wrong. bollywood is all fiction, imagination,glamour they do not represent the real india. the dresses u mentioned and the bindi is very much in vogue

As far as i am concerned i love to wear a saree whenever i get a chance..i feel a lady can look very very sexy in a saree...That's the best outfit for any party...some occasions will be there where saree is not comfortable.

You spoke about bollywood... agreed that they try and look western.. but try and watch any of the television serials.. all you will see are women in saree and the most fancy bindis that you can imagine... neither television or bollywood is real india.. but as far as the saree goes.. it will always stay in style.. and what you see in movies.. is urban india.. a very small part of india.. go in any village or any small town and everyone is dressed traditionally and that would be in a saree.

i don't think so. for all the festivals and weddings etc women dress up traditionally in Saree's. that goes even in films too. for daily wear may be western wear is prefer ed.

Sarees has been worn by Indian women literally for tens of thousands of years! Why would it g out of fashion now? Watch TV series and you'll see most women wearing nothing but sarees.
