The ministers are doing mismanagement..particularly, in tamilnadu, the minister doesn't know anything about current and he is always with the chief minister..he is the person who doesn't care the people and their sufferings and because of these type ministers, the chief minister is getting a bad name.. their aim is not uninterrupted supply of current to people..they only need uninterupted supply to them and they are least to bother about the people.. corruption...wherever corruption.. misuse of power...... |

To quote a few
Rampant corruption on the part of Govt. Agencies who are supposed to ensure supply to bonafide customer but who end up allowing tampering by unauthorised agencies resulting in more consumption than the estimate resulting in tripping of supply.
Very often no action is allowed to be taken for political reasons against unauthorised agencies who tamper the power.
Of course supply has not been able to keep pace with demand which is ever increasing. |

it is because of the concrete jungles coming up and big and huge malls set up.These malls consume electricity of more than five buildings. To see it,just go to the malls when there is no electricity in your house.you will never find power cuts there. |

Lack of quantification
While lack of infrastructure has been cited as a common problem for almost all industries, there have been no attempts to quantify the impact of power-related problems.
thus less supply more demand..leads to power thefts. |

In many States of India, generation of power is less than the requirement because of inadequate power projects and as such there is critical shortage of power.
Due to this power cut is enforced to tackle this scarcity. |

to conserve power, if people do not help to conserve power there is only one other way of doing that.
That is to cut the power of for certain lengths of time each day. |
