Of course, I will say first....Our home (in Rishikesh). If I am not being so personal then...I love Cave 10 in Ellora. The (journey to and)monastery in Tabo...the Temple is so surprising...awe inspiring and knee weakening...I know why the Dali Llama wants to retire there. The Andamans are a wonderful place to spend time with yourself, if you get off to an island and out of Port Blair or Havelok ...so is the Thar desert, if you can really get out there for any length of time, just you and a camel, with your thoughts and the stillness or movement.......Hampi is geographically an enigma to my small being and the Himalyas are certainly the peaks in ones spiritual development. I have not been everywhere, although, in my extensive tours I carry these visions forever. _/\_

karnarkata, lovely climate, i have been to bangalore, mysore etc; also ooty, which is in this state, not tamilnadu as previously stated, its a gorgeous hill station, boating lakes, horse riding, waterfalls, tree plantations, but take your winter cloths, can really get cold in the evening, you see guys standing around braziers, balaclavas on, to keep warm. but it is invigorating..

some green village in Maharastra where village is covered by sugar cane farm ,soil is black ,one small pond ,muddy road ,riding by bullock cart ,lazy birds like white stork in the field ,Maharastrian villagers with gandhi cap passing throw the meadow ,tree shaded muddy road and the back drop of some small hills

if u r looking for a religious place then go for himachal pradesh chintapurni ,jawala g ,chamunda devi temples ...these r the temples constructed at mountains ,,so u jst love it ....

This is not a good question because which place u like to travell is not shown here.
If u like to travell in mountains umust go to himalayan mountains. You can go any place in himalayas.
If u like forests, U can visit any of national parks in india.But not in monsoon, its dangerous.
If u like beaches, u can visit Goa ,Diu or nay other places.
So , first u have to decide , where u want to go. then ask the next question
