West we will get money everything living luxury needs but parents relation friends neighbors many emotion festive you only only find in india
India we will get slow start but the permanent one better the west
our culture i promise that the most content life we can live is in our own country INDIA the great man

Today it is definitely India. Going West is recommended only for those who wish to pursue original R&D, for which facilities and attitudes are better in the West. As far as job opportunities go, India is a much better bet today. Every day on my way to work, I pass by hundreds of people standing in interminable queues outside the US embassy and I never understand why they are so desperate to go there, given the patronising, arrogant attitudes of the consular staff. I believe the same is the case outside the UK consulates. In Western countries, unless you are earning really well like in the upper bracket, it is constant non stop work at home and office whereas in India, once you reach the upper middle class level, although you have to work the same long hours as in the West, at least you can afford domestic helpers for your home.

for students its west bcoz in india they can earn for themselves not for family and loved ones. but for bussiness india is best.

I dont know the point Jaan wants to make by saying he lives in south America and knows america well and still considers India as land of opportunities. Then why is he living in S america at all? the justification he would give is in fact the answer to your question. We all chase the grass that is greener on the other side. After some time when we actually reach the green grass, it does not interest us the same. We know for sure for studies for any average student who can afford west has the institutes, which at time are not available to an average indian student. You have to be exceptionally brilliant to be in IIT, IIM. On bussiness front India definitely has the edge, with a growing economic demand, so opportunities in india are better than west.
