no they're called indian since they are from india....cannot be pakistani...
pakistani's are REALLY different from indians because of the tension between them from the war

If u say that you're pakistani to a group of ppl and they find out that ur really indian...they'll have more against u than they would if u just told them u were indian in the first place

it is not because of being Muslim, but they talk anti national way, they only are taken to be Pakistani.

they often talk against welfare of India,Like protesting court laws, national theme , protesting, freedum norms,supporting voilence against law & order,creating indisciplin or many other thing which is not against hinduism, but it is against INDIA,so thay are not treated as they love india.

They clap when Pakistan wins the cricket, When India is defeated from any other country.

they are not having national feeling, that 's why..........

You are Pakistani if you are from Pakistan, not India! Dark Muslims are not all called Pakistanis. (Is this what you think?)

They do speak Urdu in Pakistan, and no it is not the same as Hindi. Some Pakistani's might know Hindi too, but the languages are NOT the same. Just like Chinese is not the same as Japanese.

They do wear the same clothes, they are culturally similar, but not religiously.

The main idea is that Pakistani's are from Pakistan, it doesn't matter what religion they are. If there was a Hindu Pakistani (very rare) they would still be Pakistani. Indian Muslims are just that, Indian Muslims. Just as the comment two above mine said, being an American Christian does not make you British.

It is not as simple as you are looking at it. If religion were to be the only yardstick to bestow a nationality, things would be different. Millions of Bangladeshi muslims talk Bengali like in India but can they be automatically considered as Indian citizens?. The percentage of Hindus in India vis-a-vis other religions is about 83 %. Indian muslims while keeping up the tradtions and beliefs of Islam as much as anyother do have a distinct Indian heritage and identity and before 1971 (Bangladesh) and 1947(Pakistan) the Muslims (and others) were all 'Indian" and shared a common culture for thousands of years. These are not my words but that of a highly educated Bangladeshi scholar with whom we were having a discussion on the the question of " identity : past and present ". With an objective and open-minded approach the answers are entirely different because a larger, comprehensive picture emerges.

I go with proud U.S. citizen. With just language and clothing one
cannot talk about Indian Muslim and Pakistan Muslim.There's more than that.
And when it comes to the topic INDIAN there is no Hindu or Muslim or christian.Basically all are human beings .
