Somewhere in Poona (Sorry, I've been away for 40+ years and still call it that!) or another town, not to small or big.
Additional Details
I am taking care of my aged mother alone in the US. God grant her many more years. If I am alone, I want to spend my remaining years in India. |

$ 600 is about Rs.28,000/- . It is more than enough to lead a life of some luxury. But you will have to save atleast 20% of it to take care of inflation, unexpected medical needs stc. |

If you have a property and therefore no rent to pay then you may be able to live an above average lifestyle and be able to afford small luxuries like a part time cook/housemaid, travel withn India, white goods(fridge, washing machine TVetc) and etc. |
