Hey! Stop cutting down Goa like that. Yes, it's deplorable about what happened but then do we know the full truth yet?

Goa has a lot more to offer than just the beaches. Unfortunately a lot of people do not know that.

Some people actually come to Goa looking for cheap pleasures. On the other hand, if you keep your class, you can get what you are looking for. I could tell you of some really good places in Goa where you could stay or visit without having to worry about, drugs, hippies and the like.....

I am Goan and proud to be so. Should any place in the world be condemned if there are a few bad apples in it?

RAPES, MURDERS. Is this what GOA is becoming? a cess pit. about time the local police stopped being so complacent and corrupt. walking along the beach holding hands. yes i have the photo's to prove it,, the plain clothes police. who rob off the poor kids,who are selling their goods on the beach, take them to the back of the shacks, and take all the money. only to put in their own pocket. police in Goa are shite... Lets face it. who needs a murder? cover it up. only another white girl. she will only detract from our bribes that we make every day

I agree with you, i would never go there. At the end of the day when I'm going on holiday its got to have other things going for it then just the pretty beaches. Drugs, sex with strangers doesn't make the place seem nice at all, they should put that warning in the travel brochures!

Im going to Goa next week this will be my 6th time it hasnt put me off , theres more than we will ever know why that girl was found dead on the beach in Anjuna soi wouldnt worry about not going crime is very rare in Goa

I have been to Goa 6 times and we are booked to go again this Christmas for 6 weeks. I agree the police over there are corrupt. But what was a 15 year old girl doing in one of the shacks drinking at 4AM. Her mother was off travelling around. I do have a lot of sympathy about what has happened.
I DO NOT go for drugs. I go to chill out. How many people have been murdered this year in Britain. It happens the world over. As for it being a whore house, obviously we travel in different circles as i have never come across it as like that.
Everyone to their own!!!! It certainly wont stop me going there

dont agree with anything you just said ..sorry but ive been to goa many many times and each time i have loved it so much .. yea goa can be a little wild but thats more on the north side of goa, the south side is beautiful its relaxing and peaceful.

Depends what you're looking for. It's been this way for YEARS.You have to be careful whereever you go in India as a single woman anyway,Goa is no exception,The Police have got alot BETTER than they were 20 years ago,government/police always been corrupt,bribes have been going on for eternity..People who go there know what to expect.The local men are just after any Western woman not just the high class-but if you're that gullible.......well!!!
When you say about the infrastructure,this is what people go for to get away from the Western world,the infrastructure has improved since 20 years ago,Goa didn't have much running water.Maybe it doesn't suit you but alot of people it does. You can get into this kind of trouble anywhere in the world!!!!

There are many people who say they have been here 6 times or even more.But no one knows the place like a local.I have a house and give out on rent here in goa.I would agree with you. Lots of girls come here looking for cheap holidays they are not the elite types but of he riff raff of uk. they hardly spend any money but in fact make money here and go back. I had a group of girls renting my place and they said they lost their money and luggage and they had no money.I not only shagged the girl but her friends as well,why for the simple reason she wanted to stay but did not have money so she offered herself. Now which guy would not agree for free sex. She used to get a guy every night home and they used to pay her.She and her friends were paid a lot of money for the services they are offering. Not only the brits but the russians and and other european girls are coming here for that. easy money.They get paid a huge amount.She stayed with me for two weeks and went back a rich dame.All i can say is she is one hell of a chick. sex parties every night. No cops. As you see who would not want to come to goa when you get all this. People come to goa cause of the cheap liquor and girls.Its a shame its not like what it used to be. But then who cares.So i totally agree you.Is goa the place to be????? Do you want to come or not?
