no - but that doesnt mean u are not cautious. stay alert. follow basic cautious moves like when ur traveling alone at night keep ur cell phone handy, watch what is hapening around u. dont leave bags unattended etc and u should be fine. some cities are worse than others but you should set a high standard of safety so that you better enjoy ur holiday - have fun

India is one of the safe places if you follow some simple guidelines on culture.
At worst traveling to India can be irritating - but never dangerous. Please also extrapolate on the definition of dangerous in this context, so one may be able to attend to the query better.

No, Not at all.....people always try 2 hamper the image of INDIA but INDIA in no terms are exposed to such wrong intenses.

But, as when travelling in any other country, you have to be cautious.. take care of ur belongings, do not roam alone after dark, do not trust strangers etc
