I am sorry to say friend chennai is no more developing. chennai is being shown so the real estate business is so manipulated that a common middle class , salaried people cant even think of buying a flat now. Every bit of land is sold unedr pressure from the Govt. to Private companies. i wonder where will this lead the whole city to.. i think that commercial establishments should go out of the city for good like Delhi. the traffic situation is horrible compared to 6 or 7 years back... this govt is only keen on making freebies announce ment and earning votes from the ppls tax money. all the bridges and infrastuctures are under a loan scheme from world bank ... the tax payer sufffers a lot here...

Cant say. About 6 years ago, I found little or no activities. And everybody has the be-back-by-10-pm attitude (I even hear about police harassment otherwise, even on innocent people). I returned in 2 days time, never to visited the city again.
My brother and my cousin also have the same opinion as I do.
To be frank, Chennai is not as open-minded as Mumbai or Bangalore are.
