Uh...

What's the question, dude?

Have you seen out of your window lately? Those stinking slums? The starving people in those stinking slums? What d'you mean India is developed?

Let's not paint a nice, comforting, rosy picture for ourselves. I'm still not very sure what you're asking, but if you're saying that India is developed, well, sorry to poke you in the eye, but it isn't. Check up the stats and you'll know. An ever increasing population is one of the problems, maybe the root cause of all the problems, adn it isnt something you just dismiss away in a line. All developed nations do have a sensible pop growth, you know.

Righty, we've all heard about the achievement bit for quite a while. Maybe it will "achieve". No comments on that.

Darjeeling Snow
I think you need to look at the recent history and realise that the foreign
invaders were not too nice to India.
They used it for their own purposes and then left it -- to fend for itself and find
its own way. India has been independent
for not very long and it is working to re-establish itself after 550 years of other
people dominating it.

It is not possible to do that to a country without damaging it ... but, India is victorious in that it is still India and that its culture is basically untarnished... just it takes a little time to become industrialized and have enough farm machinery, for ex... and enough water .... those programs, along with education and various other programs are things the British adroitly ignored.. it is because of Indian manners and good hearts that they do not snarl at foreigners... they are amazingly nice, especially for people who have taken so much from foreigners ... there is a lot to be worked on ... but, India is very big and so is their spiritedness and all the other things it takes a nation to recover its glory and make up for lost time...

India is constantly developing. In some areas they are above what is considered as a "developing country".
