Yes, it is incredible. No other country in the world can compete with it in culture, customs, traditions, wealth and what not. It's history is vast. Indians were the first people on Earth to talk and to write as Rigveda is the oldest book ever written. If India wasn't that incredible, then why would the British and other European countries come and loot her of all her wealth. I think this explains your question. |

which although written over 50 years ago, is still apt
in many ways today. Another good one is Joseph Campbell's
"Baksheesh & Brahman", written when he visited India in
the 50's, long before he became famous for mythology
and symbols...
Paramhansa Yogananda's book, "Autobiography of a Yogi"
is probably the most famous account of the spiritual quest
to come out of India... |
