no it's not illegal to marry your cousin in india or in the uk even.

In the United States it's illegal in certain states to marry your cousin. You should check with your legislature or some type of government official who might know. Or just google your country's rules of marrying within your family.

In the US, cousins can marry. I don't know the law in India.
