It most definitly is not!!!
I have visited india 7 times 6x 6 months and 1x 1 year..And unfortunatly I never met a foreign girl who did not get groped at least and at worse..(and I love india)but there is a big big problem with rape!
So unless you are or very strong and sure of yourselves ..Be extreemly carefull..if you are young and blonde ..totally forget it!!!!!
I even met 3 english girls who got groped so badly in dehli(They just arrived in india and where walking too their hotel when there was a black out in paraganj..They got groped all the way to their hotel..also a girl got raped in rishikesh..I love this country..But its extreemly stupid to all want a son..so at least 50 percent of female babies get murdered due to this there is now a great shortage of women in many parts of india..and dehli is a real nasty place ,dangerous for women!!!
Its very sad that a country with such intelligent people...Treat their women and daughters like shxt!This is the dark side of this greatest of countries BEWARE!!!!!Of course if you go with some(trusthsworthy!!!!!!!)male friends you should be okay..otherwise any info have a peek on my website www;bavos;bravehost.com cheers

womens are amanat of our Indian society,if all of our country men started thinking in the same way , then each city Will be safe for them, but they will also have to be be in their Maryada(line of control) by avoiding late night sitting in pubs& bars , roaming on roads at nights with their boy friends,wearing attractive short ,dressess.

Its safer in Mumbai than in Delhi.Thats what even celebs say.I agree.Not because they say it!I know the Mumbaikars.

Mumbai or Delhi - the cities themselves are safe even in night for girls. But it may become unsafe (even for men) if you go into the risky zones.

If you want to go to a late night bar. You may come across many a drunkard. Don't blame the city for that.
