i am worrying about safety ,because there are elections and also in news coming that militants are trying to disturb that area. Taliban threat is also there from pakistan. i am not able to take decision what to do. any body please suggest . |

As far as people of Kashmir are concern are very good,love tourists and helping in nature because we give them business but I can't say about militants. You can be safe up to Patnitop, so you can visit Jammu, Katra,Vaishnovdevi, Udhampur and last point Patnitop which is a very good place to see. Otherwise you can go to other side this year and next year you go to Kashmir if conditions are favourable. Good luck and best of journey. |

Any thing can happen in J& K. Pl.go up to Jammu town, since it is quite safer place than Kashmir. Do get trapped in religious places like Hazrathbal....
In lieu of Kasmir, pl. make it convenient to dash to another alternative hill resorts like Naini, Darjeeling, Leh, Dehradun, Badrinath, Mt. Abu. Please avoid your proposal to Kashmir as a safety precautionary measure to one all. O'kay ! Wish you happy journey and stay and safe return to home. |
