both china and pakistan will attack india....the communists, marxists, psuedo secularists and congress party will help China and the Muslims in India will help Pakistan.....India will be destoyed and it serves India right for not making india into a Hindu counrty in 1947.

I do not think so. Since China is fast developing country I do not think they will do something which will invite trouble for themselves.

I doubt it. Countries usually try diplomacy first. Too many lives at stake if there is a war.

idk about india, but i know that china is taking it easy on Tibet right now. Since the west is protesting the whole deal. I suspect that after the olympics China is goin to lay the smack down on Tibet and others.
Just not on any countries that the U.S. is protecting. Everyone always says that China is against the US and vica versa but we have a good buisness relationship with them. we are making money off each other.
Unfortunatly, the US government doesnt care about Tibet.
India? US does have a lot of buisness tied there, so maybe China wont do anything.

Very reasonable assumption. I think attack is a little misleading of a word. They will try and settle some border disputes (a long way from all out warfare).
In a similar way, I think that china will try and settle the Taiwan situation shortly after the Olympics. Once again the word "attack" will not be appropriate. About 20%-50% of the Taiwanese don't have an issue with being taken back into China in a manner similar to Hong Kong (special administrative region). Many businessmen in Taiwan have a lot of financial interests on the mainland. However, I think there will be some maneuvering of the military . It won't strictly be a negotiation, because there are powerful interests that don't want to see China re-absorb Taiwan.

I think we can all appreciate that days of all out wars between similar sized and armed nations r very very remote in the new world..The wars that u and me could see now on would be more business and oil wars

dont be fooled..and economic warfare can be as destructive if not more..it can cause famines..and civil unrest

Paco,don't be fooled into believing that up to 50% of Taiwanese have no issue with (re)-unification.Don't let the recent election results fool you,the Taiwanese are still,understandably,politically naive,and they voted for the economy without foreseeing how a mainlander could easily have one election platform then change tack immediately after assuming office.The Taiwanese have been duped and they don't yet realize it.But when they do,they won't just passively accept a union with China.
