that's a bit of a stupid question... there isnt any discrimination - everyone lives like one.. that's why there isn't any civil war... many of my friends are christian, many muslims.. and they're all rich, happy and undisturbed by any such issues.

India is a united country with a MUSLIM as president, a SIKH as prime minister, and with CHRISTIANS in all types of ministerial posts.... so NO... there is no such prejudice... the only people who cause prejudice are the developed nations who can't stand us being one, who can't stand us coming up better than them!!!

AND ,.. going by all your questions................... one thing's clear, you're one of those narrow-minded foreigners who's looking to create trouble... you're the sort of person who divides... and wants to rule... but will never do so because of your low (or even non-existent) morals! Just stop it and stop insulting all those humane Muslims who exist in defamation because of you!

None at all.

No minority in India has to worry that tomorrow the government will pass a law to take away their property or any of their assets.

Even the common people are by and large really not bothered about the caste of the people they work/commute/ deal with.

India sincerely believes in LIVE and LET LIVE Peacefully.

no there is none, unlike in the US or any other countries where there is a lot of discrimination against african americans, muslims or any other non-whites or non-christians. I strongly agree with "conspicuous", we have a muslim president and a sikh prime minister, and the US has never had a black or even a woman as president. In India, hindus, muslims, christians, sikhs, buddhists and ppl from many other religions live together and happily!! Its only the developed nations who think they r the best and most equal, but in reallity they're the ones who don't practice equality!!!!!

Yes , there is -but only in pockets of India. The middle class & upwards have no such prejudices.
But it exists a gr8 deal in various places ,especially those which r beset with either unemployment,illiteracy, poverty or all of these....
Muslims in Gujarat r treated like 2nd class citizens
Regional prejudice in Tamil Nadu & sum places in Kerala
Christians in the north -east r actually a majority & r dominant there
While the urban areas just dont have any time 2 ask u which religion u belong to--its like any other place in the world.

For that matter-prejudices exist all ovr the world
Just ask the Irish & the English, Jews & Muslims in Israel-Palestine, Ethnic African tribes, blacks & whites in USA.......

But the rest of the world, there certainsly is a lot of prejudice against the Indian Hindus.

We hear more and more people ask, if hindus ill-treat non-hindus in India, or if India is a fundamentalist Hindu nation?

No way is there any prejudice AGAINST muslims and christians. To say the least, they are the pampered lot - in the name of minority and vote bank politics. Yet spreading messages like there is a prejudice against them is far from truth.

I think it is the most rotten situation in the whole world. And yet they do not learn. They have the right but we do not.

They have islamic countries where hindus are not allowed to exist. I think someone is trying to change it very quickly and hindus will be stupid to encourage it.

But it is a situation that stinks all the way to high heaven.

All Muslims are Bastard, this is well known fact to all over world. Indians also know this fact.

All Christians are converted from lower cast in India. They are treated as third class citizen in India.
